Give me one good reason to renew GSP today...

The renewal of GSP could mean a part-time person can come back to work in my store! This will mean the world to our small business. My son and I run this store by ourselves, along with the warehouse and deliveries it is difficult!

GSP expiration has cost us an average of $1500 per container and we are importing more than 1000 containers a year. It is causing cost increases on our products that we cannot pass on to our customers. We are now burdened with significant and unexpected costs. We cannot continue to absorb the increased tariff cost if the GSP is not renewed. We will ultimately go out of business and have to close our doors.

We are a direct importer of handicraft items. We buy our product mainly from cottage industries which really help/support people overseas.

Due to the expiration of GSP it slows down our buying as we have to pay duty…… As you know we have already been hit hard by a slow economy and on top of that this GSP thing happened .
